Hello, I’m Dr. Tara Laughlin.

I help youth and adults develop the skills needed to thrive in the future of education and work by leading the design and facilitation of personalized, competency-based learning experiences. 

I’ve done this work with learners of all ages; in K12, higher ed, and business; in the public and private sector; and focused on both academic/technical and nonacademic (“soft”) skills and competencies.

Regardless of the context, I create learner-centered environments, identifying learner needs and interests, building on their strengths and targeting their gaps through best practices in learning science, curriculum and instructional development, and authentic assessment.
